Bilstein rear shock for 4WD

Has anyone found the Bilstein BE5-6647-H1 rear shocks in stock lately? Summit just moved my back order ship date out to '07. This is for a (mostly) stock '04. 5 4WD. Thanks! Jim

Thanks, I gave them a call. They don't have them in stock either. There seems to be a nationwide shortage of this part #. Maybe there was a problem with the design on this one, and they haven't worked through it yet. Just speculation, but it can happen to even the best of 'em. Good link though. They're prices are really good. Jim

I finally tracked down a set of 6647-H1s through Sean Lorenz of Lorenz Industries. I ordered them in August and got them in September (3-week wait). Try him, as-well-as Off Road Warehouse (ORW), Shockwarehouse, and E-shocks.



Lorenz Industries and ORW, at the time, had the best prices. Even if backordered, they seem to get priority over other suppliers. PM me if you want to know what I paid when I purchased the front and rear 5100s.

From their website, it looks like those are shocks for the 03+ 2500/3500 2wd models.

I ordered a set of 5100's, BE5-6681-H5, on November 9 from Ajusa and they said they would be backordered for four weeks from the manufacturer. Looks like it's not just the 3rd gen shocks that are out of stock. Don't know whats up.
