As you can see from signature, I drive a 2500 2 wheel drive CTD. Most of my driving is in town over rough cement roads. I'm shopping for new shocks and was wondering how the Bilsteins ride over the same type of roads. My truck still has the OEM shocks and as far as I'm concerned they ride pretty rough over this type of pavement. Before I shell out $60 bucks a piece (plus tax of course) at Auto Zone, I was hoping that I could get some feed back from you guys.

I have done searches but it seems most of you drive 4x4's and I'm sure they ride rougher. Any help would be appreciated.

I like mine

Love the shocks. Hate the bushings. For such a great shock, you would think they would come up with a better one than the ones for the top. I would imagine they would make a 2wheeler ride pretty smooth.

:( I had them on my '94 GMC 4x4 6. 5 and thought they where to stiff for everyday comute. Road much better with load! Not sure if that helps, but I won't buy them for my 2000. I'm still on my stockers now but just picked up pro comps for $127 delievered from Summit Racing, will get installed when I put on new snow tires! James
