Anyone running the Awesome B steins with a leveling kit? Obviously the sock needs to be 2. 5 inches longer than stock.

I run Pro Comps now but want to smooth out the front end after the DSS and DT setup (Of course rod ends and B joints too ;)

I run a spacing bushing and the bilstiens, I like them, but they are going to give a rougher ride. They took the lean/sway out of the truck when making high speed courners, whic was nice. On the back i have rancho rs 5000's, they work good, but I also run air bags. I had rs 5000's on the front but didn't like them, and after a year they were realy junk. The taller truck gets alot of attention, as do the 255-85-16 bfg muds, not to common for a dulley. They are quite on the street, and i love them. They also wear very good, should be aneasy 50,000 miles out of them.

Im running the Bilstiens with 2" spacers, no problems at all. I just told them i was running the spacers, and they set me up with the +2" ones. They ride good in my truck, and the sway, and up/down bounce control is much better. My stockers were great for 75K,then they quickly faded to terrible.

DigDig, Good Q:

Thanks BOB!

What spacers do you guys men? I swear by the allmight B~Steins as they were the ONLY Shock that would tame my past three trucks I built with as much as 11" of lift.

I got mine from Off-Road Warehouse, when I called and told them I had a 3500 with the 2 1/2 inch over Rancho coils they knew right what I needed. I can't remember which numbers they are but I've got the latest and greatest Bilstiens on the front, they are silver and blue, the ones on the back are yellow and blue. I am not home right now so I can find my paper work, but if you need the numbers let me know and I will dig up the papers.

I switched to Bilstiens at 25,000. They should come stock. Rides so much nicer. Went 4 wheeling today for the first time in my 4x4 3500 . The ride was well controlled by these shocks.

Just wish they made a steering damper for us.

Thats what Mactruck has, I was talking to him at the colt beach thingy, He has the sky jacker d25's on the front, he was also talking about getting national springs for the back.

I also have the sj d25's with the bilsteins, much softer up front, now all I have to do is get a 2nd and 3rd job to pay for the buckstop, the extra weight should help the spring settling rate.

Where was that from? Seems to me they were a little cheaper when I got them 8-9 months ago. Try thisBilsteins

It's a few months old but they were around $60 each, I think my front ones were a little more because they were the next grade up. Call ORW and see if they still have the TDR discount.

If you buy the stock replacement ones (blue and yellow) they run about $58 each. The Silver Zinc coated ones that RAMN4EVR posted
Front # BE5-6681-H5 Rear # BE5-6682-H5
are about $66. each, from off road warehouse, the sj d25's run about $149. a pair, tell them you are a member of the TDR and these are the prices.
