Hey guys, just purchased an Eco Diesel Limited to add to the stable. It doesn't ride too bad, but honestly I was expecting better from full air ride. Has anybody put a set of Bilsteins on their air ride truck? Do they even make them for the air ride? (their website doesn't specify)

After having the truck up in the air on my hoist, It's easy to see why none for the front end, the shock is built inside the factory airbag. I do see Bilstein is advertising "factory airbag shock replacements" so something to keep in mind after the warranty is gone if you need a replacement. As far as the rear shocks, they look just like any other shock. Unless there is something fancy inside that will account for the fact our trucks can ride at so many different heights, but I doubt it. I don't see why an off the shelf shock replacement wouldn't work.

I had the left front air suspension air shock replaced under warranty, the truck would not level when driving, dealer said was the tire, wrong answer. Grab by his neck walk out to truck with engine running here the air shock leaking air. Took dealer a week to get new shock, and I was given a rental until the replacement. I spoke to tech who did the work said, have to take everything apart to remove the air shock, said was two day job, hope does not have to do again!

Gotta love the dealers, some good, most bad. Looking at it I'm surprised it was that big of a job. I would have guessed a couple hours, shrug.
