Bilsteins and Skyjacker
Put the coils on last weekend. Wasn't too bad. Around 3-4 hrs total. Rides great, looks great. Front is now about . 5 in taller than rear though (measured from center of wheel to fender). Will probably put the springs or leaf in next. Caster seems ok, will find out when take in for alignment. If caster is out, will have to put in Skyjacker lower control arm. I didn't have to unbolt the track bar. Getting the upper arm control bolts back in took a friend. I would recommend trying to put them in without taking those bolts off. My passenger side bolt wasn't all the way out and I got the coil in fine. Just give a try, will save you some time. You will also need a torque wrench that goes up to at 130 ft-lbs. If you need the torque specs let me know.
When I go over speed bumps, it seems as though the shocks run out. I called Bilstein and the part number for the correct shocks are as follows.
Remember I have a 1999 2500 4X4. These are supposed have valving for lifted dodges and upto 3" lift. They were just released a few weeks ago.
