What will a stock 1st gen run on effectively? B20 or up to B100 with no mods?

I'm trying to find some to run for a test... but you'd think in an area with 100,000 people I could. I read alot about biodiesel... but when I say "not for me"... its because I can't find it yet.

Whats B100 or B20 selling for average?

As far as I've heard, Cummins still does not recommend anything other than #2 diesel, or #2/#1 winter mix diesel. Yeah, I know people have run other stuff. But I would imagine that with the up and coming hype on biodiesel, Cummins would have by now given the OK if all the kinks were worked out.

my 92 has the hard poly fuel line, not rubber. I ran B100 last fall, B20 during the winter, and B100 as soon as it is available again. No problems at all so far. Smoke is a little lighter unless I punch it, smells like you left the fryer on. :)

Cost is about the same as dino around here. ($4. 39 or so)

Where did you source the poly line. I have a freind here who is making BIO and I would love to get my truck on the bio.

My bad, you're right, Cummins has approved of the 95/5 mix for a while. I thought of that after I posted. That was the last bulletin from Cummins that I read.

Where did you source the poly line.

It came that way from mama Mopar. I am not sure when they went to the poly lines with the plastic quick connect clips. 92 and 93 had them. Anyone know when they switched?

Other than a parts truck or a mechanic with a universal fuel line making kit I don't really know where to get new lines.

I was at Purdue recently for a three day seminar for highway construction. One of the classes I attended was alternative fuel vehicles. GM and Cummins had "high up" suit and tie folks there. Let me assure you that they both are VERY MUCH working with biodiesel. I thought both said B20 was being approved right now.
