Motor oil or ATF4 for use as fuel?

Methane

Best lubricity in test mentioned on this forum shows Bio Diesel as follows...

1) 2% REG SoyPower biodiesel

HFRR 221, 415 micron improvement.

50:1 ratio of baseline fuel to 100% biodiesel

66. 56 oz. of 100% biodiesel per 26 gallons of diesel fuel

Price: market value

I would like to continue using Soy Oil as an additive to my fuel. So the question is... What Ratio of Soy Cooking Oil would I come up with. I would need to know the makeup of Bio Diesel and how it compares to Soy Cooking Oil (new in the jug) Is it thinner (lower viscosity) and if so how much. I do know it will start and run on the pure stuff (just like it will on red trans fluid) when the lube guys replace the fuel filter and prefill it they both work.

Presently using the same ratio that I use with Lucas.

Bio is transesterfication of the soy oil. The chart is a little off, heres the data and a link

Lubricity !

Great Stuff... ... Thank You... Looks like I will end up somewhere between 4 and 13 % will take time to go over it carefully later. At first glance that seems richer than I have been running. Would be about 2 gal. per 50 gal.

That equals about $ 6. 50/per fillup roughly. Did an injection pump rebuild at 600k and not anxious to do another right away. This time around the fuel quality is down considerably. This is the kind of help that makes membership such a bargain.

Sorry the chart didnt post here well. Theres a butt load of data on this stuff if you go looking in the right places. Im a amatuer bio maker and once I end up in Co Ill ramp up a bigger still and increase my experiments to a level that is economically and ecologically better than dino diesel. Not that Im a green freak, Im more of an independence fruitcake and making fuel makes me less dependent on a goverment/corporate system.
