No-Foam Fillup

How about running used ATF?

I have been thinking about this for a while and it seems as though there are no taxes paid which in effect = dyed fuel or actually I think it would be worse as there are no taxes paid where dyed just has no on-road taxes paid.

Is there a fuel tax sticker like I remember from the 70's for Propane powered vehicles? If there is how much is the sticker or is it per mile driven and what if I use part commercial available fuel (like when I travel) how do they regulate?

IE will I get fined if they dip the tank and it comes back Bio?

Check the IRS website, and do a search for biodiesel. I believe they have a form, (720), you can fill out, but I'm not sure what all it applies to, (i. e. commercial, individual, etc. ) Actually, I think there is more than one form. I'm sure the states will have to get their cut, too, but I haven't looked into that at all, yet.

If you bought the bio it should be taxed exactly like #2. There is no on/off road versions (no dye), but it's taxed the same way.

If you made it... I have no idea.

They dye B-100 down here and sell it without the road tax.

If you pull up to the distrubitor with 55gal drums for your boat, you can fill them out of the regular "road" B-100 pump and then they will add dye to the drums.

I think the off road price was 2. 4xxx something and B-100 road was 2. 72 last time I bought it.
