WVO People Where Are You?

Well, with the new diesel emissions and particulate filters, I wonder how the new systems would react with blended/b100? I work for my county road and maintenance department, and we just got in a 07 Kenworth with the new regeneration system, and it got me wondering. Can anyone think of any way it could damage something I am not seeing? The only reason I am interested in it is because I homebrew bio, and supply it to alot of friends, and I have a few friends with brand new 6. 7 dodges, and another who just bought a new kenworth as well, and I dont want to be the cause of any issues... any ideas? All I can see is that it would help cut down particulate emissions...

I've been running B33 for a yr+ , I would make it but , do not have a place to set up .
Without being a large outfit , making big bucks , lots of insurance , I would be very weary of suppling home brew to a bunch of new trucks [ Kenworth $100,000 ? ] , if you do lots of testing , water , PH , ect. , then the odds may be with ya .
As for the emissions equipment , it would only be a guess , that bio burns cleaner , so in theory , it would work those parts less ,
I've read a lot of testing for a few yrs. but , almost everything was older than the parts mentioned , maybe the national bio-diesel board has something ?

Biodiesel has already been tested with all the new emissions equipment. The results are interesting. There are no problems with ASTM Spec Bio Fuels and LEVII Emissions Equipment.

B20 ULSD reduces PM(soot) out the tailpipe by 67% when used with a Diesel Particulate Filter like the ones used in 2007 and newer vehicles.

It also lowers the temperature necessary for regeneration burnoff to take place. As a matter of fact, it lowers it enough to not require extra fuel. Burnoff can take place under normal driving conditions without having to dump fuel down the exhaust. That can add up to about a 3% fuel savings depending on the type of driving you do.
