I have reached a point in my life that I really dont CARE what the government thinks or does. I will burn anything I can in my Cummins without regard to the governments idiotic ideas or taxes. We are regulated to a point already that causes everyone to break several laws daily without even knowing it. I also dont believe in the governments version of global warming. Looks like this nightmare is coming true. A week or so I heard more news stories about how the pilot program worked and now they want to make it state wide. If I lived in Oregon here's how I would beat the system: I'd buy an old junker of a 1/2 ton truck that had a good engine. Then I would stick a couple of fuel tanks in the bed or on a trailer. This would be my fuel vehicle. The only time I drove it would be to the fuel station to fill the tanks, then back home. Since the fuel tax rate will be based on how many miles you drive, this truck would get me the lowest tax rate available. I would also sell the fuel to friends at a price between what I paid and the standard tax rate non-residents without the transceiver pay. Yep... just call me a fuel bootlegger or a fuel dealer. I'd be proud to be called either!

Don't know about OR but here in CA you would have be certified & insured as as a fuel hauler for that plus have a resale lic. for the sales, collect & report taxes :-laf

Mexafornia is going to hate me when I go thru their state this summer. I am going to drive my MCI9 bus with the old 2 stroke detroit pulling my 3500 cummins dodge. I dont have to have any fancy boxes to make SMOKE. LOLOL. MOE

I buy TAXED fuel at the pump and put it in a 250 gallon tank. I then blend it with filtered waste cooking oil and run it in my 1996 truck and all my diesel equipment (tractor, lawnmower, 4 wheeler, pressure washer, welder, generator, wood splitter) and all but the truck is used off-road. I pay MORE than my share of road tax. I do not feel the least bit guilty when there are leeches sitting in government housing, too damn lazy to work and not paying taxes, yet milking the system for all it is worth. Soon I will set up my refinery and run on 100% WVO so I can run it in all my vehicles also. I pay PLENTY of taxes and until they make the leeches (welfare wh0res and illegals) pay, I do not feel the least bit guilty!
