I've got it bad... I now have a ton of questions I hope you can all help with.
I'm looking at doing a bit of work to my rig, a 98. 5 automatic, 2wd, short bed, quad cab. What I'm thinking of is the following:
Mach 3 EDM injectors
Marco's CaTCHER ECM
Edge Comp
Full DTT transmission
FASS
Big fuel line kit
My current mods are listed in my signature and include 4" turbo back exhaust, AFE intake, boost and EGT gauges, I'm adding a fuel pressure gauge soon. So my main questions are; Do I need the Comp with Marco's ECM in this setup or would I be better off running with one or the other alone? I'd really like the opportunity to talk to someone who drives a similar rig, to get a feel for what I might expect, is there anyone in southern New England with a setup similar to this? I need to maintain streetability, the truck is my primary transportation, this seems pretty close to the limit of that from what I've read but still within, would you say the same? What sort of power levels can I expect out of this combo? The truck is used mostly for highway cruising, the occasional drag race trip and once in a while some relatively lightweight towing.
I appreciate any comments you all may have and I'm buying the wobbly pops in exchange for test drives.
