Lately I have been noticing that when I step on the skinny pedal good and hard I have been blowing a greyish-brown cloud of smoke instead of my usual black as night, fading to grey type cloud. I usually run my Smarty on 5 by itself and occasionally turn the Juice up to 2 or 3. What would cause this change in smoke color? The power does'nt seem to have been affected, but I may have just slowly gotten used to it. I'm curious about fuel pressure (hopefully santa brings me a guage) but I'm open to any ideas.

grey or lighter than black smoke is evidence of a better burn, the smarty is managing the fuel better thats all.

Yeh. I never did have a dark black cloud from my smarty. Everysince the first time I loaded it I thought it was gray. Of course we have been running the ULSD here for a while also.
