Black Grille and Inserts for 2006 2500

I searched and don't see this covered anywhere. I just purchased a 2006 Ram 2500 QC TD. It came with the silver grille and inserts, I am going for a black on white look and am trying to track down a 'reasonably' priced black grille and inserts.

for my 04 i purchased a take off ST grill and painted it black.



that or go to dodgeparts.com in the OEM section and find the black grill you want. think their price is just over 250

If anyone needs black 2006 inserts, I have a set in perfect condition. Swapped them out with a mesh grille when the truck had 500 miles on it.

I have the chorme inserts from my 04 for who ever wants them. and would like the black ones for the 06 to replace the chorme ones. Any one still have the black ones.

Well, I got the black grill (the whole thing, not just the inserts) from www.autopartswarehouse.com and it is a 2nd generation grill, not 3rd, as I pointed out to the "people" on the telephone, before shipping, based on the picture on the website, but I digress.



Any way, after fighting with www.autopartswarehouse.com for a week trying to get the return authorization number, for the wrong part, after the 20% restocking fee, for the wrong part, and me paying the return shipping for the wrong part, and then waiting up to 2 weeks for the refund on the wrong part, I have decided two things:



1. Warn TDR members not to do business with www.autopartswarehouse.com because "they" are either stupid or don't care. Both actually.



and



2. I have a 2nd generation, black grill, with black inserts for anybody who wants it.
