Anyone blacked out there front ends. I would like to do my grey plastic bumper, chrome grill frame , and diamond plate running boards. For the running boards is there a product that will hold up without going to powdercoating?

JR2... IMHO with the buggggggs issue you have up there my thinking is that spray paint withh come off with pressure washers you must be using to blow off the bugs. . so your best bet would be powder coating :(

ON EDIT. . I saw this and for some reason [not enough coffee yat LOL] saw JR2 John in Alaska. . excuse me

Years ago (abt 13) I bought a gallon of black paint from a local supplier that was industrial strength. It was sold to some of the trailer and mobile home manufacturers in the area for coating the trailers. It holds up real well for a spray-on paint. Much better than anything you can get from the hardware store. I used it on my local-built snowmobile trailer. Much of that trailer still has that original paint.

Try contacting industrial coating supply places and/or local trailer manufacturers.
