Black Smoke

I have a 2001-5 ctd, 1700miles, just change the oil today ,delvac 1300. When starting the truck to pump the oil thro I got a puff of black smoke. After the oil change samething, shut the motor down and restarted same puff, goes right away. not sure if it has been doing it since new. Is this normal?

Completely normal. Just a little unburned fuel. All of them do it.
