Black stacks

I can't find anywhere a set of un-chromed stacks either allready powder coated black or just non chrome... .



Im going for the all black theme with my truck its an 06 CTD.



Any websites outhere selling un-chromed or allready black? 5,6 or 7"

If they still have them, www.the-co.com carries them black aluminized stacks.

Just use VHT paint, I don't think powder coating will hold up to the heat but could be wrong.

What about the 'Black Chrome' treatment???

I called around when I did mine asking about the black chrome because its way cool but the bin it has to go into to be polished was only so big and my stacks were longer then the measurments they gave me. I was told the clear coatiing that goes on after the powder coating is the problem as it couldn't handle the heat. Really though the VHT/BBQ looks pretty damn good and you recoat when ever you need if it gets scratched.

I bought mine from GrandRock Pipes (actaully a distributor of thiers) and we requested non-chrome... It was no problem and they came bare metal. .



Then I used high temp engine paint. PS - 7inchers are in the future!



PPS - turnouts, yuck! mitres rock!!!



This is back when I had the turnouts, want them? cheap, cheap, cheap
