American Racing's version of the black daytona is only good for 2200 lbs. I checked last weekend. Plus they are probably made in China like all their other wheels.

Stockton wheel told me their Explorer wheel, like the daytona, was not recommended for my Cummins Dodge.

The best 16" steel wheel I've found for weight rating is made by Accuride... who makes Budd type wheels for semis among others. They are the stock OEM wheels supplied on F-250's XL... the plain steel ones with the D holes. They look much like the other black wheels but are rated for 3300 lbs. Unfortunately, the Ford bolt pattern is 8x170mm which is not what you need. I was going to contact them but figured they wouldn't be interested in making me a "special" set. Maybe they offer them in 8x6. 5"... I dont know.

yeah the Ford vans still use the 8X6. 5 lug spacing. I just picked up a set from a '98 ford van. Accuride 16X7 3200lb load rating... AWESOME WHEELS!

I am going to off my bling ford alcoa rims and just go plain jane steel.

WARNING to people with us wheel cheesy aftermarket crap, max load rating on those wheels are 2200 lbs for steel and 1999 lbs. for the aluminum 16" wheels. DANGER.
