Blackstone report

I just ran 6000 miles on trip to Rockies towing my RV. Serviced engine and new fuel filter before I left. When I got home I drained oil and installed AMSOil remote bypass. I sent sample to Blackstone for oil check. They said report was good but insolubles was a little high. Needed oil filter.



I thought towing hard for 6k with good report was gooood. :-laf

Where'd you mount your bypass filter?

my amsoil is in between intake and fan on drivers side. (Custom bracket. ) The big 110 filter which is near a foot long. I can refer you to the guy who made it.

JFought, is the bracket in the threaded holes on the front driver's side of the engine? I would like to have the fabricator's name. I'd love to see a picture if you can post one. Thanks!

The oil line that comes with the kit is "air hose". I had 3000# hyd. lines made up. Ran the lines thru water pipe insulation. "The foam stuff" to dampen the noise and mounted the filter to the frame under the passenger side. Makes it real easy to access.





It is not just bypass but the remote kit.
