I am getting ready to finish the FP gauge install and before I hook the sender to the VP44 I want to make sure all the air is out of the hose. So, after hooking the hose to the schrader valve do I just bump the starter or do I need to actually start the motor to get the fuel going? Either way, is the fuel going to shoot out or come out slowly?

Thanks,

Dan

I did not bleed the hose when I installed my Westach system. I may be wrong but I believe the consensus is that the air cushion in the hose is less strenuous on the sender than fuel hammering on it. I installed mine at least 8 months ago and haven't touched it since.
