Blend Hvac Door Question

This weekend I'm tearing apart my dash to replace my broken blend door in my hvac unit. My question is: when re-conecting the negative battery cable to test my unit prior to putting my steering colume and dash back together is there any threat that the airbags my go off ? Any advice is apprecieted. Thanks. .

Not that I can see with just testing. As far as I know you would have to impact the wrong part pretty hard or short out the wrong wires.

Thanks for your reply WoodChuck! I accomplished the HVAC removal this weekend and fixed my Blend door problem and had no issue with airbags when testing. The write up in TDR from (SCBRODER) was extremely helpful. There is no way I could of done this job without his excellent write up with pictures. A big THANKS to him!The parts he listed was Perfect!
