I just remembered that last winter I blew out my front left brake line while plowing snow. The rubber hose cracked right near the caliper. It was a pain to locate a new one, especially during a snow storm. Now I carry spares. If you do a lot of hard braking you might consider doing the same.

VC:

I am not Willy but I believe I have seen them in the Summitt Racing Catalog www.summitracing.com and they are made by Earls and Russel. I have thought about doing the same thing myself just haven't got around to it yet so I haven't checked to see if they stock our specific lines.

check with the makers of the hoses to see if they are DOT approved and legal for street use--many braided steel hoses are only legal for off road---Sam

My buddy just lost a front brake line on his 95.

It had a hole in it like it had been rubbing against something.

Thanks for the reply Barry. . been gone for several days and about to be gone for several more. . on vacation

The lines can be purchased at most GOOD 4x4 houses and are not very expensive [under a hundred for four lines] look in the lift kit section of their ads or cataloges. .

the best thing is the better stopping power !!
