Anybody running Parnelli Jones 35/12.50R17 load range E tires?

Is the overhead mpg reading really less accurate than a hand calc??

I am having an intermittent blinker issue. Anybody else have this problem?

It does not happen often and at first it seemed that moving the lever to off and then back would get it to work. Seems to be getting worse as today I was making a turn and the off/on did not work. Nor did moving it to right/left/off several times. When I made it home I tried it again and all it worked.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

There is a TSB out for low blinker fluid. 04-237-09 :-laf The staulk maybe getting caught on something inside the steering wheel. Is the steering wheel all the down, in the middle??? If you forced the staulk to move when the wheel was turned you might have damaged it.

I had the same problem with mine. They would work only 50% of the time I needed them. I replaced the multi-function switch (the stalk and all) and now they work 99% of the time.

Do you have othe lighting issues? Twice I have had problems with my headlights flashing on and off alternating with my fog lights. I also have problems with my dash lights going dim like the dimmer is turned down all the way. If I pound on the dash they come back up.

No of the other issues you described yet anyway.

How hard is the removal of the multi-function switch/stalk? I have to do something ASAP as now I noticed I somtimes blink left when I plan to turn right.

Thanks

Turn the wheel 90 degrees to the left so that the large opening at the top of the wheel is verticle. Remove the tilt column lever by pulling on it (can't remeber which way to pull). Remove the torx screws in the underside of the column cover. Remove the cover from around the column. Using a screwdriver, reach through the opening in the top of the wheel to remove the screws that hold the mlti-function switch in place. Install the new unit.

Look for my "BOMBed Multifunction Switch" thread. Instructions with pictures of how to do it WITHOUT removing the steering wheel/airbag. (service manual says they have to be removed, but I found a shortcut)

I just got around to replacing the switch. Thanks again for the great info! I just paid for another year of TDR with my savings from this one issue. It took me 5-10 minutes to complete
