Blinkers are not working all the time, seem to work better when the steering wheel is in a certain possition.

Any ideas?

Probably related to the multifunction switch or the wireing to it. It is located in the steering col. and is connected to the turn signal stalk, can be changed without removing the steering wheel I think. I have read on here several threads relating to the switch, you should be able to find some good info by doing a search. If you should tackle the job yourself there are precautions that are recommended pertaining to the airbag that need to be reviewd. bg

You would need to take the cables off the battiers for at least 5 minutes IIRC.

The multi-switch connector mite have loose wires or the switch could be bad.

On my truck, the low beam power wire coming out of the multifunction switch broke off, right at the connection. I just lengthened the wire and put the correct spade connecter on it. It seemed to me that they left these wires a little short, so when the steering wheel is in the down position it pulls on them just slightly. That and the combination of tilting the wheel to get in and out of truck fatigued it enough to fail.
