Blinkers on the fenders?

Thanks, TDR Staff

need car hauled from Sacramento to Olympia

19.5 wheels and tires

I have a car hauler. I'm putting lights on the fenders. Those 1. 5" pop in ones.

If it possible to make them running lights and blinkers??

Run the positive wire to your running light, run the negative to the turn circuit. It will blink with the turns and tails off. It will blink opposite of the turns with the tails on.

I cut oval's in my fenders, and installed Truck Lite LED's amber "side" STT lights. These are the ones with the rubber "boot" mounts. The "side" light ovals are desinged with a "hump" in them so they are visable at better angles, plus you can see the light in your mirrors. With a "flush" mount only, you can not see the light from the front or rear. If you do not have enough fender for mounting, there are "boxes" that these light fit into, and you can mount the box on the fender. You see this style "side" light on most semi trailers. It is a very nice touch to the trailer, plus a safety bonus.

Good luck.

Hoefler, where does the light get the ground from if you wire that way? I'm not an electronics expert but would like to do this on my Arctic Fox. Thanks for the info.

I can see the lights in my mirrors... the light is facing the back of the truck :)

I'd post a pic, but I can't resize it here at work and the TDR has some retarded pic size vs a standard 640x480 pixel size that 99. 9% of everyone else uses.
