I purchased the block heater cord through my dealer parts department and I need some guidance on how it's routed to the front of the truck. The cord has barbed pins attached to it that obviously secure the cord along the way.

I guess what I am looking for is someone to take some photo's of the cord so I can see how it goes.

Thanks in advance

Rosco

my just arrived 3500 has its plug end of cord. it is located at passengers side of rad. will have to see if i can borrow a digital camera or worse case follow it with my eyes and give you a road map.

MHubbard,

Thanks for the quick response. I had a couple of 03's and they had the block heater cord factory installed. I remember the "basic" route the cord travels but I want to do it right and secure it in the proper locations.

However, it's not a big deal if you don't get to it. The truck started right up at 29 degrees earlier today. Also, I will be meeting up with another TDR member in about a week so I can use his truck as a guide.

I just figured if someone in a warm southern state felt bad for us "northerners" they could go out in their t-shirts and shorts and shoot a couple photo's for me.

Just wait til Monday and you can do it in my garage:) . You bring the heat, it's 8* here this morning and the old girl fired right up, no cord;)
