Block Heater Plug; Re-route It

I finally crawled under the truck to check the diff fluids (see other thread) and noticed there was more then enough plug wire for the block heater wire to clip the bottom holder and route the wire over the frame rail then to the outside of the tow hook and out -- over the top of the tow hook. I then zip tied it to keep it outside and away from the radiator.



Now it comes out through the bumper instead of above the bumper where it rubs and scratches the paint.

I did that to mine also. I did not have to zip tie it though.

I learned the hard way on mine, it came this way but the cord was touching the inter-cooler and it melted and had adhered itself bad.
