Block Heater

Its gettin' cold in St. Louis. Decided to plug my truck in today, just because I had a chance to. However I think that I've got a short or something. Whenever I plugged the cord into the outlet the reset button would pop out. Suggestions, Solutions? TIA

I discovered the same problem. At first the heater just did not work well at all, then i started to have breaker faults. I found that the wire just back of the plug was cracked and had started to short out and pit. Also I found the knurled nut at the block had a tendency to loosen off. I ended up installing a new plug, and using some waterpump pliers to snug up the connection on the block.
