Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Block Numbers

We all know about the 53 blocks. I'm wondering how many different numbers are there. I'm looking into a truck ( 98 ) that I am told has a number 5 block. Is that a legitimate block number ? Truck is too far away to check for myself. Is there any other way to tell what block it is ? Thanks, Doug

All the blocks I have seen have "two" didgits. eg: 52 53 54 55 56. There will be a second number after the 5. If possible have them send you a picture of the number. Shadrach

Anybody else?? Are there alot of different block numbers? Would anybody know how to find this out? Somebody on this site must know,or knows somebody that does. Doug
