Archived blop, blop loud noise at idle??? 03.5 H.O

yesterday my truck at idle when first started or when in gear at idle is making a hoorible blop, blop noise. I cannot notice it when driving nor does it seem to affect the performance. but it definately sound sick

Can't call it a blob blop but I had a kinda a thuck thuck at idle a while back and it turned out to be an intake valve too tight. It went away after I adjusted the valves. I did find one valve too tight.



heard the noise at the air intake though,, where abouts is yours coming from?

i've heard blop-blop twice and both times it was a bent exhaust pushrod ...



if the sound is coming from your intake/air filter then you have an exhaust valve that is not sealing during the compression stroke and you're hearing it "blop" back through the intake system ...

Warped Head it turns out

Well I guess it turned out to be a warped head. ATS is said they were able to save it but it needs new bigger valves again. They showed signs of major heat, but they said the turbos looked good
