Blow By Tube Location??

Anyone have any pictures of what the blow by tube looks like or where I should be looking for it. I seem to have a light film of oil on the inspection plate on the 48RE and am hoping it's coming from the blow by tube. I wiped it off recently and within a coupel days it was back.

Didn't they do away with the blow by tube on the 05? It did come out of the front of the timing cover and then down the front of the engine. Now, I thing it is routed back through a filter on the valve cover. On the older versions you could get oil residue from the filter on the front of the timing cover. Looking at the engine, that would have been in front of where the injector pump is connected. I'm not where I can look at mine now.

nope... it is routed through a filter under the plastic cover, but then the road draft tube still comes down the left side of the block. you can see it from under the truck. the underside of my engine is damp from drippings from the draft tube, but that is all. .
