wouldn't ya know it, as soon as i pick up a r134a conversion kit :) , the blower motor quit :{ . where is the power for this thing? the fuse checked out good, but is there a fusible link? where is the resistor pack that tells it to run on med or low? yes, i jumped 12 volts to the fan adn it came on full bore, but i wantto get it right. if i can get the air in my truck to work, i'd never have to go home. :D

thanks, kent

bad switch

Most likely. They do give trouble and if the motor is running with a jumper, you (probably) have a bad switch. I have replaced a couple. The guts are right behind the switch lever.

Dig in.

Resisitor pack is on top of the air box under the dash. The power should run thru a fusible link on the driver side fender. I just replaced mine and I believe it was the orange wire.

The same link runs the electric windows and its a pain when the blower doesn't work, the windows don't work and the temps get over 100. :(
