Good Afternoon,
I have a 2003 3500 4X4 Quad Cab Dually. My truck's AC blower motor continues to run after shutting down truck and removing key from ignition. No apparent indication as to why. Fuses good. Everything else works normal. Passenger floorboard is dry, and AC is discharging condensation overboard normally. Not finding results using search function. Would very much appreciate anyone's input/experience with this challenge... Thanks.

my 04 just started doing the same ended up being the ign switch the first one replaced was a inexpensive one seemed like it was binding as i was starting - replaced again with OEM works great

For some reason, American automobile manufacturers, going way, way back, thought it would be a good idea to run the full current going to the blower motor through the ignition switch. Eventually all this current often burns up the switch. Splitting this out to go through a separate relay is one hack I have been planning for some time now; just haven't gotten around to it yet.

Me too, I even have the high-amp relay and everything associated in my booniebox, just couldn't motivate myself to install it.
