2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission blowing starter solenoid fuses??

it seems im blowing starter solenoid fuses at the rate of maybe one every couple of days.

im thinking starter,but if my solenoid in was bad would it just crap out and stay out ?or do they slowly die?

Check Larry B's starter contact kit. Your starter contacts are probably as thin as paper and likely causing the blown fuses.

For information on LarryB's contacts you need to look at the Foster Truck site.



The usual symptoms of worn contacts are clicking/sticking contacts, neither of which you mentioned. If all you're noticing is a blown fuse D (20 amps) in the Power Distribution Center, I think the two links I posted above are a good place to start.
