Any one else have this problem. It started out of the blue, turned on wiper/washer and they started for about 1 second and quit, the 25 amp fuse was blown. Put another fuse in and it blew immediately. Any help would be helpful. I am going to start troubleshooting it this evening.

I pulled the relay and put it back in and everything is working. Go figure, I didnt have any 25 amp fuses left so i used a 15 amp anf both the washer pump and wipers are running off the 15 amp fuse.

1 unplug BOTH the wiper and the washer.

2. operate both functions "empty" to test switch.

3. reconnect the wiper (a drier part) and activate - fuse OK??

4. disconnect wiper and reconnect washer (the wet part) and activate - result??

This should help isolate fault. My money (pennies) is on te washer pump since on the other side of a seal from the motor is alot of corrosive wetness…
