is there any alternatives to the factory lines that feed the trans cooler? i blew mine yesterday, made a hell of a mess that is now covering the truck .....

anyway i need to replace the line that feeds the cooler, it also has to have a provision to hook up a sending unit for my gauge.

That makes one heck of a mess. . I did it driving down the road at 50 mph. Had no idea it happend untill the transmission would not shift correctly. Pulled over and the entire truck was covered with fluid... not a good day.

I just put the hose back on and put an extra clamp on it, been holding for a while like that.

well mine is a metal line that cracked ..... and i was doing somewhere around 70 when i think mine went ... ... . but i guess i was lucky i did not know it blew till i got home ..... so the truck was still shifting fine

i think i am going to look into hydraulic lines like sdeeter told me to look into over on pavementsucks ... .

why did that have to happen on the weekend of the first snow ..... i am not used to this cold stuff yet :{ :{ :{
