blue box q's part 3

I bought a 4 wire blue box. It is a rv503. I talked to a blue box tech and he told me that it is for a rv or freightliner only and it would not work on my 2001. He stated that it would trip alot of codes. I had ran it on my truck for a few miles with the green wire off. I also have a ez so tricking the map is not needed in my case. It has set no codes in the few miles I did drive it. So what could be differnt with it? Isnt it only a deration extender with the green off??????

It fuels great and has set no codes yet. I think I will keep it unless someone says otherwise. Oo.
