Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Blue Chip FMS Problem

Ok today I picked up, and installed my brand new Blue Chip FMS. The install went great. I turned on the key, truck started, but the box didn't turn on. So I got out the test light. I have power to the box, thru both the brown wire "#5 fuse" and the red wire ""#9 fuse". I checked the fuse in the back of the unit and it is still good. Everything is hooked up correctly according to Chip's instructions, but she just wont turn on :{ . Any Idea's

How do you have it grounded?

the box is grounded through the black wire with the brown tracer at the injection pump. Thats how it said to do it in the instructions. Thanks

That's how I did it with my APB. The box did turn on but wouldn't function properly. I had correspondence with Chip & we scratched our heads over it, checking voltages & connections. A second ground to an intake manifold cover bolt did the trick. I still don't understand why the first ground didn't work but I'll not argue with sucess. Give it a try & maybe it will work for you.
