No it doesn't... although, it doesn't have to. You see, the Blue-Chip pump cover is a white/yellow/tan color... it's made of nylon... the OE Bosch VP44 pump cover appears to be a die-cast (metal) cover... the idea behind the Blue-Chip pump cover is that you reinstall the OE pump cover if you require injection pump warranty replacement. Since the Blue-Chip pump cover pierces the pump wire beneath the cover, the Dodge Tech. will not see the pierced wire... i. e. , no evidence, no problem.

However, let it be known (again), that was not my personal motivation to purchase the Blue-Chip pump cover. As I have virtually no real warranty left on my 100k warranty (I'm currently at 66k mi. ), my motivation was a superior pump connection... it was worth the cost of the cover for this alone. I have already made plans with Piers to acquire a new VP44 injection pump if required as a result of my Edge Comp upgrade. And if the weather gets too cold I'll have him install it in his HEATED shop.
