My brother- inlaw wants a good "HOT" box for his 00', witch one of these or any other is a good choice for this year truck? Just want to hear from some guys that have tryed these boxes!

Am i postin wrong or something this is the second post that i asked for help and no one seems to have any info for me?!

What does he want to do with the truck? sled pull, drag race, tow heavy, street driven empty?????

What mods are on it now? stock injectors? standard or auto transmission? Is he going to upgrade or does he want to leave the transmission alone?

What turbo is he running?

Both these boxes are good & hot, but as others have said, more needs to be known about intended use & other mods before intelligent suggestions can be made. Personally, for everyday driving, I'd recommend a Smarty.

Sorry about that fellas!! He wants to sled pull with it and its an auto and it is bone stock for now! It will still have to be streetable, he is wantin to pull in a street class and is able to runn boxes in that class. I told him he has to up grade the transmission. This is his first ctd, got ride of a power joke for it!!! what is some good transmission up grades for that year? Hope this info helps alittle more than what i had before.

It is available through Haisley Machine.

Its a special ATS converter for sledpulling (special as in not the regular ATS unit).

Here is one in action:

Most people on here are not aware of its existance. Just because a transmission is a good transmission does not mean it is the best for a certain type of competition.

You can still run your transmission of choice and install this converter.
