blue chip?

ok... ... has anyone tried or have any goods or bads on the blue chip wizard fuel management system? kind of pricy but when you figure in a box, gauges,and all then it's not that far off? income tax check is in! thanks in advance!

Makes DC's prices look kinda fair. Granted there's overhead and r&d costs, but there ain't that much electronics there. Just my cost adjusted $. 87 worth.

The FMS is all the box that is out there for you to buy, it is equal to anything else. Go for it if you want it, good box and nice people at BCD.

I have had the FMS box on my truck for about 12,000 miles.



What I like:

Increased power (which is very adjustable)

The box tells you exactly how much fuel it is adding

Very smooth

EGT defuel (which is very smooth)

EGT, boost, ect. gauges with memory

Lift pump low fuel pressure warning

Fairly simple install



I have not had any problems with the box and am glad I got it. I decided to use an autometer egt probe instead of the big hewitt probe based on an article in the TDR a while back. I decided to mount the box on the ash tray instead of the recomended on dash install. On the price issue I rationalized it based on the extra features and the look of the box. I especially wanted the adjustable defuel based on high egt. Kind of hard to decide, all the boxes have fans.
