Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Blue Point SP500 Diesel Gauge set questions.

I bought this set a year ago and have some questions about it. Is the indicator holder designed to fit where the delivery valve is. I assume the splined socket is to remove the nut where number one line goes into the pump. what is part number sp504 used for.

This kit is pretty straight forward. The splined socket is to remove #1 delivery valve after the line is removed. The indicator holder screws into the vacant hole. The other piece is a gear remover to pop the gear off the pump, through the oil fill tube hole. Good product, accurate also.
