Blue text color on left side of screen?

What is the reason for the intermitant Blue text on the left side of the screen I have seen the last week or so?

Are you talking about Google ads? That's the only blue text that I'm aware of. Google ads will appear on the side of the forums pages if you are not logged in to the site (or if you chose to have google ads show up in your control panel).

No not the adds. I never log out,so I never see those. It is only in the threads that I notice it and it is intermitant. Sometimes everyother user name is in blue and intermitant words in the title also but it seems to stay towards the left side of the screen.



Also when I go into the classifieds there is always a double stacked drop down menu bar at the top of the page.

It sounds to me like you have spyware on your PC. There's spyware out there that takes certain words and will turn them into links. Links commonly show up as blue. What are you using for anti spyware? I suggest using Webroot Software | Spyware Detection and removal by award-winning Spy Sweeper software .

I'm aware of the problem in the classifieds and I haven't been able to narrow it down but I'm still working on it.

I won't be on for a couple days other than emergencies so it'll be next week before I can respond to you.

Its was just the member names when I saw it, everything worked normally... ... .

Not sure if this has been mentioned before...

But I select "rotating" as the theme at the top of the page, but it stays on Third Generation.



I may not renew my subscription if this problem is not fixed. :-laf

Well, I'm sitting at a camp fire in the middle of the U. P. I got Robin's message so I checked in on this thread. The reason for the blue links on that thread is because of RacinDuallie's first post. He has html code in his post that changed links to show in blue and underlined.



I'll look into the other stuff when I got home tomorrow. Have another 30 miles of trail to attack tommorow (ridden 70 miles so far this trip).
