1987 Mercedes 300D

hey i need help on a problem.

i always dreamed of getting my grubby mitts on one of the 3. 9 variable nozzle twin turbo diesel v8s from the euro e38 body 740, 413 foot pounds of torque at like 1600 rpm, bombing it a little and backing it with a 6 speed and dropping it in a 89-95 e34 5 series, go vette hunting

The poster there says "525d" but the car says "535d". I heard recently from a local BMW dealership there will be two diesel choices: the 3 liter for the 3-series cars and suv and the 3. 5 liter for the 5-series cars and suv. Both are inline 6 configuration. Their arrival is to be as a '09 model introduced next year. I am excited, as I would love to see their inline 6 engines kick Mercedes' V-6 engines' arse!! (like the gassers already do!)

Sorry, my bad. I just copied it from my friends album to mine and didn't even notice.

Man, I can't wait for the twin turbo diesels..... they're gonna rock! There's a 335d Bimmer in my future ! Bruce

My wife's 328i will be traded in on a 335d as soon as we can order one... it will be sweet!

I to am waiting for a 335d to come around. As soon as they are available I'll be trying to get one to add to the fleet. It will become my commuter car. I looked at the Mercedes E350 blue tec diesel but couldn't come to grips with paying almost 60K for a CAR. We ended up getting a Toyota Camry Hybrid for my wifes car instead. 40mpg all the time. Great mileage for a midsize car.

Hi, All the 6cil diesels are 2993cc, the 525, 530 and 535D is the same engine. The 535 is twin (compound) turbo. The 335I (fuel) is also twin turbo, but there they use 2 small turbo's for 3cil.

I have a 530D now with only programming, I don't know how many hp but it goes so fast... . , tuner claiming +/-270, standard it was 218HP.

The car in the pictures has the optional M sport pack.
