I got my new '07 Big Horn Quad/Long 6 Spd. , 2WD, and I'm starting to spiff it up. I'm putting in a PacBrake and Air-Lift system with self leveler. The truck is white and I really need to dress it up. I don't like nerfs, but don't want the old fashion boards either. I want something that adds a lot of shine. Don't say Diamond Plate! I like Stainless.

What do you suggest that looks  on a white truck. I've looked on the net at J&J Enterprises "Classic Tube Tapered" or Milleniums, and at DeeZee Elite and FX, and Onki Nerf Boards.

Doug,

Check out the Luverne Mega boards, they look like a SS nerf tube, but are a step board and the mounts don't attach to the body, they attach to the frame at the body attach points. I have a set on my 05 and I really like them. If you send me your email address I'll send you a picture of mine witht hem on it. Lektrikman

I second the Luverne boards... I have them on my Mega and also have the bed rails - Very happy so far and they look great !

I like the look of the Luverne Mega Steps, but they are designed to look like a nerf. I don't like having the open space between the body and board.

I'm leaning toward the J & J Millennium boards, or thier "Classic Tapered Tubless". The Millennium with box board is going to be over 1k. Don't like that part! :( I really want a 1 piece W to W board on my Quad long box, but that is really hard to come by.

You already know what my vote would be. :-laf The one piece boards in my opinion aren't the best. There is a lot of flex between the cab and the box.

The Luverne Mega Steps can be adjusted on the mounting brackets to slide in or out. There is no space between the body and the board that your foot could get caught. They only look like nerfs from the side. Look straight down on them and they look like a flat board. They also mount on the frame, so the flexing of the bed and cab don't impact the Mega Steps. I guess if the frame starts flexing you may have an issue.
