Boat Trailer VIN location

Does anyone know where to find the VIN on a Shoreliner boat trailer? Is it a tag or is it stamped somewhere? TIA

Vin on my Shorelander was just a plastic tag that vanished in three years. don't really know how important it is . In Jersey they don't ask a whole lot about boat trailers.

My trailer was the same way when I bought it, so the DMV punched stamped it in the frame and riveted it on a metal tag when had to license it. I bought it in Oregon and licensed it in Washington.
