Hey big

Dont know about you but watching the Football game last nite Bob Costas comment P***ed me off to no end IF I WANTED HIS OPINION ON THE MORALITY OF GUN OWNERSHIP I WOULD HAVE ASKED FOR IT. I have made my thoughts more than clear to the TV station and hope you will do the same. Its not the place nor time to have that done. This is not the first time this A** HOLE HAS DONE THIS AND SHOULD BE FIRED FOR THIS

BIG

Not that they could care what I think, but I think I'll send them a short little email tonight also. While I'm at it, I think I'll email AutoZone with my opinion on the firing of the employee who stopped a robbery in progress with his own legally owned gun.

I'm with you Big. Costas is an idiot and a fool. Just like so many other network "personalities".

I saw Bob Schieffer, of Face the Nation fame, on CBS Morning News right after the election ranting about how foolish the American public was for electing Republicans to the House and Senate. He was REALLY upset about it.

I just read about the Costas rant on M4Carbine.net. I'm glad I didn't see it happen or I might have blown a gasket. After the election, I now realize what path America is on and I'm afraid I have lost hope in our citizens. There is so much leftist influence, that I don't see how we can take her back.

Here is an excerpt from an article written by Chris W Cox.

... For anyone who missed it, in his halftime segment during Sunday night's NFL game
between the Dallas Cowboy and the Philadelphia Eagles, Costas hit his captive
audience of football fans over the head with this absurd rant:

You want some actual perspective on this? Well, a bit of it comes from the
Kansas City-based writer Jason Whitlock with whom I do not always agree, but
who today said it so well that we may as well just quote or paraphrase from the
end of his article...

Handguns do not enhance our safety. They exacerbate our flaws, tempt us to
escalate arguments, and bait us into embracing confrontation rather than
avoiding it. In the coming days, Jovan Belcher's actions, and their possible
connection to football, will be analyzed. Who knows?

But here, wrote Jason Whitlock, is what I believe. If Jovan Belcher didn't
possess a gun, he and Kasandra Perkins would both be alive today.

Only a media elitist, living a cloistered life inside the NBC newsroom, could
let loose with such a woefully ignorant, ill-timed and irresponsible statement.
Furthermore, the fact that Costas tried to partially hide behind a fellow
journalist borders on cowardice
...

The emphasis on the above paragraph is mine; I couldn't have said it any better.

Anyone have a list of the game sponsors, I believe it's time to start an email campaign to NBC and their sponsors, all the liberal pres sponsors and let them know how dissatisfied we are about this and all the liberal news.

So if he didnt possess a hand gun he would still be alive? Yep, and if Jovan Belchers daddy used a rubber, he wouldnt have been around to shoot anyone in the first place. Gee, maybe thats who we need to go after next :D

These people will never understand, the danger is not in the weapon, its in the ignorance of the person holding it. People prove that everyday, I dont know why its so difficult to comprehend.

Hey Big, remember what Ron White said " You can't fix stupid". This applies to most people living behing the camera and not in the real world.

I know rattler but ya can hope some WONT BE STUPID!!! Makes me wonder if the TV station knew what he was about to say I cant see them just giving him FREE AIR TIME TO VOICE HIS OPINION.

Whitlock said: "You know, I did not go as far as I'd like to go because my thoughts on the NRA and America's gun culture, I believe the NRA is the new KKK. And that the arming of so many black youths, uh, and loading up our community with drugs, and then just having an open shooting gallery, is the work of people who obviously don't have our best interests [at heart]. ”

Golly... I didn't know the NRA was arming those poor "yoots"; AND, I thought it was the CIA loading 'em up with drugs, not the NRA. Yep, ya can't fix stupid.

You're not missing much. Of course, I enjoy the History Channel quite a bit.

I do watch some things like your History Channel, but for the most part if I cant learn something from it WHY WATCH IT. And some of the travel shows but most of what is on the TV are things the wife looks at. I guess in a round about way her watching The girls from OC or Beverly Hills or Texas or WHERE EVER makes me appreciate WHAT I have. I read more than anything and she helps me with the bigger words :-laf
