I hate to give you advice without seening your exact setup. I wish I had a schematic, then I could mark it up and send it back. I have a cc disconnect built in to the stock setup in the ecm, acutally with the stock setup the brake will not come on without the go pedal at 0 or cc off. with the switch on the shifter I can turn on the brake at WOT (not recommended). I simply put a wire from the vacuum acutated electric switch to the output of my stock switch I picked the wire that goes to the vacuum solenoid that actually turns the brake on.

I will pm you a schematic of the jake set up on my 2001, if you have any questions pls ask.

ok i think that i have figured it out now i have three wires running to the switch. a white a red and a black. Red is hot, white is for the lighted switch and Black is ground. all i would need is for the supershifter to have a place to tie in with the Red and the Black wire. I will just leave the white one off because the shifter does not have a light on it. does this sound right?

1 Is your brake controlled by the Accelerator pedal?

Or or is it activated by the ecm?

2 Is your brake, vacuum activated?

If it is, is there a solenoid that controls the vacuum to the brake?

3 Do you have a switch to turn brake function on/off.

You will need to find the control wire to the Vacuum solenoid that runs through the Brake on/off switch. If you tie into the control line for the Vacuum Actuator Solenoid after the stock switch, you can then choose if you want to run with the stock switch or the Super shifter

You can find the Control line by turning on your brake and using a test light or by looking at the schematics.

Make any sense.

Which James river?

1. The brake is controlled through the go pedal.

2. vacuum does control the the Exhaust brake that would be # 6 in the diagram

3. i do have a switch and it has three wires running to it a yellow black and red. Black= ground, Red = actuator switch, and white is for the light in the switch.

The James river in Richmond VA.

Thanks again
