Nice job on the body lift! My other '01 QC Shortbed had the same set-up as you. What size tires are you running on the stock wheels in the photos? I'll putting in my 2. 5" Skyjacker kit soon and I just add the PA body lift.
Just wondering if you welded that flange back on the intercooler plubing when you took off the 1 1/2". I need to do the same to mine, and I'm wondering if yoou can just cut it off (and risk the hose blowing off) or if you welded the end back on after sectioning the tube...
If you did weld it, what's it made of? Mine's not rusted anywhere , a magnet sticks to it, but it feels too light for stainless???
Actually there are 2 flanges per end of the intake tube, I only cut off 3/4" on each end, leaving one flange on each end, which the clamp/hose fits over nicely, and seems to hold 60 psi fine. No welding required.
It wasn't stainless, mild steel tubing is my guess, the sawzall wizzed right throught it.
