I just picked up a 1995 Ram 2500 with a 3" body lift and am getting ready to attack the KDP and a couple other minor issues on the truck and just noticed while disassembling the front of the engine the lower intercooler boots are kinked hard due to the body lift. Whoever orginally put it in never apparently anticipated this, along with the length of the battery cables. I'm assuming I just need longer connector tubes. What would I make them out of, and do I just bead roll the ends, and is it that simple, or is there something else I should know about?
