Body parts interchangability 2003-2006 ?

I dig the 2006 2500 front bumper/headlights/fender look. . Will these parts interchange with a 2003?. . Is the hood the same?..... Thanks

I thought everything would have been compatible, but I got this back from Warn when inquiring about a front receiver hitch for my 06:

The new 2006 Dodge HD products do not accept our front receivers for

prior years. At this time we do not intend to create a new front receiver for

the 2006 Dodge products. The older body style which accepted the

receiver did need a square hole cut in the valance the receiver to come through. At this point I would recommend checking with Draw-Tite, Reese, Valley, or any other major hitch manufacturer to see if they will have a front receiver for the 2006 Dodge products.

What is the difference in mounting for the 2006 model from the 2003-05

models? The 06 was only a minor model update with new headlights and

grill. I was told that the frame and suspension were the same. The 06 is

referred to as a 3rd gen Ram as the 03-05 models.

There have been significant changes in the frame-to-bumper relationship

that has impacted every kit we offered for the previous model. As a

result of the necessary changes we had to completely re-design our

Trans4mer Grill Guard systems and HD bumpers which are scheduled to

start production in the next week or two. Unfortunately, this is very

common in the industry today. "Minor" changes to the body, routing of

cooling lines, frame connecting points, etc. all have major impacts on

aftermarket products to include our winch mounting systems.
